Hello, my name is Kerrin Ehrlich<\/strong>. I currently live in a small town in Austria, but I am originally from South Africa, so my mother language is English. I was inspired to write an English book for children when I worked as a native speaker at the local kindergarten. When researching material to read during kindergarten sessions, I had problems finding books in English suitable for my requirements. It was important to me, that the story line was not too complicated and applied to most children living in Austria. In addition, the pictures shown should mirror what was happening in the text, so the child can understand the story content easily and make a connection between the objects in the pictures and the relevant word.<\/p>

My goal is that through reading or listening to the stories, the children become comfortable with the English language and are not shy to use the words they have heard or read.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

About Ashley<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

My dog Ashley<\/strong>, the main character in the books, is an English Staffordshire bullterrier. She is 12 years old and has very kindly supplied me with so much material, that I was able to write two books full of true adventures and funny stories about her, family and friends.<\/p>

\u2018Honest Ashley\u00b4s funny side of life\u2019 and \u2018Honest Ashley\u00b4s fun adventures\u2019 are the first two English books from the author Kerrin Ehrlich. Each book contains 5 chapters of delightfully funny stories about Ashley, an English Staffordshire bullterrier, and her family. The stories depict the life of Ashley while she is getting to know her family and the various activities that they take part in, in a small town in Austria.<\/p>

Honest Ashley\u00b4s stories can be enjoyed by both young and old. If you are learning English, teaching English to children or just want to hear about a funny dog and her family, Honest Ashley will definitely make you smile!<\/p>
